AC Milan want to sign Luis Sinisterra even though he’s only just arrived Leeds United, according to Italian journalist Carlo Pellegati.

The Gazzetta dello Sport journalist has reported via his personal YouTube account that Milan’s chief scout Geoffrey Moncado has been tracking the 23-year-old Colombia international and that he’s valued between £22.3million and £31.3million.

MilanLive and SportWitness have both transcribed Pellegati’s update on Sinisterra, in which he says that he’d love it if Milan end up with an attack consisting of Rafael Leao, Charles De Ketelere and the Colombian attacker.

“My big dream is only one, Luis Sinisterra,” said Pellegati.

“In Feyenoord he played on the left, but in Colombia and Leeds he starts from the right.

“He reminds me to death of [Rafael] Leao, even if he is less overbearing and devastating in the race.

“But he has great class and confidence, he reminds me of Rafa.

“Having one on the right and the other on the left, with [Charles] De Ketelaere as an attacking midfielder, would drive me crazy.

“Moncada followed him, Milan likes him.

“He has a market value of 25-35 million [Euros], therefore in the range of the club.”

Crazy talk

This is all the stuff of dreams, surely?

There’s absolutely no way Leeds will be selling Sinisterra any time soon, especially not for a fee similar to what was paid for him in the summer when he joined from Feyenoord.

Sinisterra has been on fire since his move to Leeds.

He’s scored in three of his last four appearances for Leeds and during this international break, he’s opened his account for Colombia.

After netting his first international goal against Guatemala, Sinisterra helped Colombia come from behind to win 3-2 against Mexico by scoring twice.

Even though he’s a wide player, he cannot stop scoring and Leeds fans cannot wait to see how he performs for the Whites once he’s back in the UK and the Premier League resumes.

AC Milan shouldn’t bother.

It seems like it’s mere speculation from a journalist, although he is well-known in Italy and does say that Milan are interested in the winger.

Either way, he won’t be for sale any time soon.

And if he is, we’ll be demanding a lot.
