AC Milan have reportedly tabled a bid for Leeds United and Chelsea target Giannis Konstantelias, who's currently plying his trade at PAOK Salonika.

According to Inside Futbol [20 February], Milan have tabled a bid in the region of £8.8million for the 19-year-old attacking midfielder.

Leeds were eyeing him in January as well and it was also understood that Arsenal were planning to send scouts to gauge the Greek's ability.

Good enough for the first team?

Konstantelias is yet to make his senior debut for the Greece national side and there's a very good chance that he won't be ready for the first team at Leeds.

For that kind of money, one would think that someone must come in who may not strengthen the playing eleven, but will be a good squad player who's been likened to Eden Hazard.

Leeds have bigger fish to fry as they've got to avoid relegation and appoint a new manager as soon as possible so we do not think they're planning for the summer yet.

There's a very good chance that they do not even consider offering the kind of money that Milan have, so this one we can write off right now.

Chelsea, Arsenal or some of the rich clubs in England may sign him as one for the future, but the Whites will surely not be able to afford that.

Hopefully, they get their managerial appointment right as that's what they need to focus on in the coming days and weeks.
