49ers to stand firm as Igor Paixao twist emerges after mega Leeds United offer
Leeds United could potentially face a massive obstacle after submitting an offer for Feyenoord forward Igor Paixao this transfer window.
The Whites have almost matched Olympique Marseille’s bid to the Eredivisie outfit for the Brazilian forward, but have offered more in add-ons.
Paixao is a concrete target at Elland Road, but the West Yorkshire outfit have been competing with the Ligue 1 outfit for his signature.
The Peacocks now face another challenge in their hopes of bringing the 25-year-old gem to LS11 after submitting an offer in excess of £26million.

Roma interested in Paixao transfer as Leeds United continue negotiations
Roma have entered the race to sign Paixao from Feyenoord amid interest from Leeds, according to Anthony Joseph.
The Sky Sports News journalist revealed on X (25 July) that the Serie A outfit have expressed their desire in the Brazilian winger, with the Elland Road hierarchy locked in talks with the Eredivisie club.
It’s been claimed that the Giallorossi have made their feelings known regarding the 25-year-old, but are yet to submit an offer.

49ers Enterprises will undoubtedly stand firm in their valuation for the attacker, as has been seen during the ongoing transfer window.
Habib Diarra moved to Sunderland from Strasbourg despite the West Yorkshire outfit’s interest in the midfielder, but the Americans in LS11 stuck with what they felt was the right offer for him.
Daniel Farke will hope for Paixao transfer at Leeds
Anton Stach is the latest addition at Leeds this summer, making the midfielder their sixth signing of the summer.
The Whites have also reinforced their defence admirably with Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw and Gabriel Gudmundsson.
Lukas Nmecha arrived at the West Yorkshire outfit as a free agent earlier in the transfer window, and he’s been the only signing up front.
Leeds could lose Mateo Joseph before the end of August, and Patrick Bamford also seems to be on the chopping block.
Daniel Farke will undoubtedly be desperate for Paixao to make his way to LS11 in the coming weeks as the Whites hope to avoid immediate relegation from the Premier League.
