49ers ready to sign off new Leeds United transfers as exit updates emerge
Leeds United owners 49ers Enterprises are ready to sign off on further signings should key players leave the club, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
The newspaper reported on its website on 2 August that the 49ers are prepared, and have the facilities to sanction a number of further signings following Ethan Ampadu and Karl Darlow if blue-chip players are prised from Daniel Farke’s side.
This news comes following Max Wober’s exit to join Borussia Monchengladbach, and constant rumours linking the likes of Willy Gnonto, Luis Sinisterra, Tyler Adams and Jack Harrison with moves away from the club this summer.

Good news for Leeds fans
The report shares that Leeds are confident of keeping these players at the club despite interest from elsewhere, and recognises that doing so would be a success.
However, if they do lose these players, among others, the club are primed to move for further additions to the squad, with several names having been discussed at Elland Road as backup options to the current crop of stars.
The news that the club are prepared to sign new players if they need to is a good one, it means Leeds won’t get caught short in the market with the season rapidly approaching and will allow them to act to ensure their squad isn’t weakened.

Frustrations may emerge though, as the club may be better served being proactive with their business. If replacements are brought in before the current crop leave, the worst-case scenario would be that the team is left with more quality players.
In other Leeds United news, the club may have been handed a boost by rival club’s new transfer news.
