49ers ready huge Leeds transfer spree after Gudmundsson and Longstaff deals
Leeds look set to complete deals for Gabriel Gudmundsson and Sean Longstaff.
The former, a left-back from Lille, has already completed his medical ahead of a £10million move to Elland Road.
Meanwhile, the Newcastle man is subject to another £10m bid with a further £2m in add-ons, and Leeds have already agreed personal terms with the midfielder.
Daniel Farke is keen to bolster his squad ahead of their return to the Premier League, and it seems like the owners have no problem backing him even further in the market.

49ers set to spend over £120m for Leeds
The Whites have already signed the likes of Jaka Bijol, Lukas Nmecha and Sebastiaan Bornauw, but their dealings are showing no sign of slowing down.
A report from Sky Sports (8 July) claims that the deals for Gudmundsson and Longstaff would take the Whites’ spending to around the £42m mark.
It states that the 49ers were willing to spend over £120m this summer when the window began, which would be an additional £80m after what they are already set to spend if those two deals go through.

Leeds need to spend big to stay up
It is no surprise that the LS11 outfit are willing to spend big this summer, if they did not, then top-flight survival would be nearly impossible.
The Peacocks still need upgrades in goal and upfront at the very least, and could choose to boost their options in other areas too.
The likes of Yahia Fofana and Nick Pope could take Illan Meslier’s place in between the sticks, after he was ousted by Karl Darlow at the end of last season.
Meanwhile, Dominic Calvert-Lewin or Nikola Krstovic could help to relieve Joel Piroe of the burden in attack, with Patrick Bamford and Mateo Joseph potentially on their way out of Yorkshire.
Anton Stach is another player who has been targeted, and Farke’s side could do with him in their engine room as he is a 6’4 behemoth, who would provide a different profile in the engine room.
If the Whites stay in the division, they will be in a much better financial position long-term, so it makes sense to spend big to try and do exactly that.
