The news outlet reports on 5 February that Trafford is on the Whites’ radar as they look to address their issues in between the sticks as a priority.
It’s been claimed that Elland Road hierarchy are showing ambition, with a new quality shot-stopper part of a broader plan to strengthen the team.
There will surely be a lot of competition for Trafford’s signature, and it remains to be seen whether the Peacocks can convince the former Burnley star to sign for them.
Karl Darlow has also let Farke down this season, and the German manager will hope the problems in goal don’t affect the West Yorkshire outfit’s plans of avoiding an immediate drop to the Championship.
West Ham United are slowly trying to claw their way out of the relegation zone, and Farke will undoubtedly be worried about that prospect.
