49ers could put spanner in works as Largie Ramazani exit takes another twist
Largie Ramazani still appears to be on the verge of exiting Elland Road after just one season with Leeds United.
When Leeds supporters saw clips of Ramazani scoring against Real Madrid last summer, the fanbase was beyond excited to welcome their new Crysencio Summerville replacement with open arms.
Prior to the injury the winger picked up at Elland Road in October against Watford, he was comfortably the Whites’ best player.
However, for one reason or another, the 24-year-old could never re-establish himself in Daniel Farke’s side, and now Ramazani could be set to leave Leeds imminently after falling even further down the pecking order.

49ers could ‘toughen loan fee’ for Largie Ramazani
Although Manor Solomon and Dan James were outstanding for Leeds last season, both players were given far more opportunities than Ramazani, even when their form dipped.
With Jack Harrison back in the fold at Leeds and being another player Farke prefers to Ramazani, the Belgian looks as though he will have to move away to play more regularly.
According to reports from Superdeporte on 25 August, Valencia appear to be on the verge of bringing the winger back to Spain, with significant progress being made on the deal on Monday night.
- Ramazani joined Leeds from Almeria last summer
- The winger managed to record eight goal contributions in his last La Liga campaign
- That was made up of three goals and five assists
Valencia are confident of completing a deal as soon as Tuesday, with the Spanish outfit keen to add a purchase option to the deal, but would settle for a straight loan deal if this could not be agreed.
However, the one thing that would slow down the deal is if Leeds and the 49ers toughened the loan fee terms.
Should that happen it would put a spanner in the works, although Valencia do not expect Leeds to play hardball at this stage.

What did Daniel Farke say after leaving Largie Ramazani out of Leeds squad vs Arsenal?
Supporters could sense it was the final nail in the coffin for Ramazani’s Leeds career when the winger was left out of the squad that was thumped by Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
When explaining the decision to leave the Belgian out of the matchday squad, Farke said: “It was due to [Noah] Okafor coming in, not against Largie. [Willy] Gnonto was going to start. Jack Harrison is the hard worker as a defensive winger.”
Whilst Ramazani’s talents are there for all to see, it is clear that Farke’s stubbornness when it comes to team selection has ensured his move to West Yorkshire has not gone to plan for all involved.
