Premier League stat highlights what Leeds can expect from Anton Stach – only Man United ace outshines him
Anton Stach has already made a big impression at Leeds United.
While Leeds’ end to the summer window was underwhelming, there were still plenty of positives to take from the early stages of their recruitment.
Lukas Nmecha has already notched in the Premier League, while several others have already showcased their worth to the Whites in the top flight.
However, Stach has shone the most for Leeds out of their summer additions, and that is only backed up by the fact that he is second in the Premier League for one key area of the game.

Anton Stach second for chances created in Premier League
Stach’s quality has been clear ever since he scored in Leeds’ pre-season clash with AC Milan, and that has certainly translated into his displays in the Premier League.
Via Fotmob, the German has created 10 chances in his first three appearances, a stat only bettered by Bruno Fernandes, who has 12.
None of those have resulted in a goal, though that says much more about Leeds’ lack of attacking options than it does about his own ability.
It’s not the only area of the game that he thrives in, with the midfielder also boasting an 80 per cent win rate in his aerial duels, something that was identified right at the start of the summer window.
Stach outshines 93 per cent of Premier League midfielders when it comes to defensive contributions, showcasing his ability to contribute at both ends of the pitch.

What is the best midfield possible at Leeds?
When fit, Stach is one of, if not the first name, on the teamsheet at Elland Road, alongside that of Ethan Ampadu and Ao Tanaka.
Sean Longstaff and Ilia Gruev are good options, but neither possesses the traits that are needed to thrive in a midfield trio.
Ampadu is the perfect option to sit in between the lines, while both Stach and Tanaka can progress with the ball in transition.
The biggest issue for Daniel Farke is keeping them fit, with Ampadu’s injury struggles at Leeds United arguably his biggest downfall.
