Manor Solomon proves Daniel Farke right at Leeds United after what he did last night
Manor Solomon disappointed when captaining Israel in their encounter with France on Thursday and Daniel Farke’s decision to drop him against Millwall seems justified.
Solomon arrived at Elland Road on loan from Tottenham in the summer with high hopes but has yet to reach the expectations set for him and his performance in what was otherwise an impressive point in a goalless draw with Les Bleus will do him no favours.
If Farke decides to keep him out of the side for their encounter with Swansea City on 24 November, he will be completely justified in doing so.
Manor Solomon form is a concern for Leeds United
For a player who possesses many key attributes, Solomon’s performances are simply not adequate and it was no different against France on 14 November.
According to Sofascore, he failed to complete a single dribble against France out of four attempts, resulting in a zero per cent completion rate.
Perhaps his only positive from the game was his successful pass rate, with a 94 per cent pass accuracy from 18 attempts. Although the latter number just shows his lack of involvement in the game, further added to by the fact he had just 25 touches in 72 minutes.
While Israel were able to suppress most of France’s attacking threat, Solomon had no influence in that. Failing to win any of his defensive duels throughout the match.

Out of eight ground duels, he failed to win a single one and offered no defensive security with players able to dribble past him on four occasions.
With zero key passes and zero chances created, his creative input was minimal as has been seen on too many occasions this season for Leeds and should Farke opt against utilising him in their next league encounter, he will be fully justified in doing so.
