Leeds United trio rated as three of the Premier League’s worst players in brutal statistic
Dan James, Ao Tanaka and Jack Harrison have been ranked as three of the worst players in the Premier League so far this season.
Leeds are currently in a relegation battle, with pressure mounting on Daniel Farke at Elland Road.
In recent weeks, the Peacocks have struggled, with Leeds losing 3-1 to Nottingham Forest before the international break.
James, Tanaka and Harrison ranked in the Premier League’s top 10 worst performers
When working out the average rating of each player this season, WhoScored has not held back.
Numerous stats have been used to work this out, with James’ horrendous passing accuracy at 53.7% likely a factor.
While James’ struggle for fitness at Leeds this season may explain his rating, Tanaka and Harrison do not have this excuse.
Much has been said about Tanaka’s lack of game time at Elland Road, and it would appear that Farke is right to limit his time on the pitch, given his performances.
In comparison, Harrison’s form at Leeds has long been criticised, with the winger doing little right.
Can Dan James recover from his poor start?
Unlike the other two, James arguably has the most potential to turn his season around.
The winger is now starting to return to fitness, and when he has played in the Premier League in the past, he has been solid.
According to Fotmob on 12 November, when James has been on the pitch in the Premier League this season, he is making an impact, creating chances, as well as firing shots on goal.
| Dan James Premier League stats this season | Per 90 minutes |
| Shots | 2.19 |
| xA | 0.17 |
| Chances created | 1.88 |
| Successful crosses | 1.25 |
| Dispossessed | 0.31 |
Hopefully, going forward, Leeds can start to see the best of the winger once again and push up the table.
