Leeds United relegation chances take another hit in supercomputer prediction after Aston Villa defeat
Leeds’ chances of staying in the Premier League have taken another downturn after their 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday.
The Peacocks have been one of the favourites to be relegated throughout much of the season.
However, a positive run of form at the start of the campaign actually saw Leeds backed to stay in the Premier League by Opta as they moved up the Premier League terrible.
Yet, a terrible run of form has followed, with the 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa at Elland Road leaving them stranded in the relegation zone.
As a result, the odds of the West Yorkshire side surviving the drop have quickly worsened.

Leeds third-favourites to be relegated
Going into the Villa match, Leeds were already tipped to be relegated from the Premier League by Opta.
Farke’s side had a 51.44 per cent chance of going down after their defeat to Nottingham Forest. However, this has significantly worsened.
Opta on 23 November is now backing Leeds to finish 18th, with the odds of relegation now standing at a staggering 58.69 per cent.
Wolves remain the favourites to go down at 94.57 per cent, while Burnley are predicted to finish 19th, with a 62.72 per cent chance of finishing in the bottom three.

Above Leeds is West Ham, with the East London club now just 37.61 per cent likely to be relegated.
Leeds should be 10th as it stands
So far this season, Opta believes that Leeds have been incredibly unlucky.
According to the expected points table, the Peacocks should actually be 10th, with 15.2 points.
Much of this is due to their underperformance defensively, with Leeds conceding 22 goals from just a 14.8 xG against.
Hopefully, Farke’s fortunes will soon turn around, and Leeds will quickly move out and away from the relegation zone.
