Leeds United can sign their own Morgan Rogers as source reveals January offer
Leeds United could move for a player in the mould of Morgan Rogers in the January transfer window.
The England international scored a brace at Elland Road and helped Aston Villa to secure a 2-1 win over Leeds earlier in the season.
Lucas Perri conceded a free kick from Rogers as the attacking midfielder showcased his qualities for Unai Emery’s side once again.
Daniel Farke would certainly benefit from someone of his quality, especially after Leeds could only manage a 1-1 draw against Brentford last time out.
The Whites could now make a move for someone like Morgan Rogers in the hope of improving their fortunes across the second half of the season.

Leeds United linked with Ruben Vargas from Sevilla
Ruben Vargas has emerged as a target for Leeds with just two weeks remaining until the winter market opens up.
The versatile forward has had a positive campaign in LaLiga, having contributed to seven goals in just 870 minutes across 11 starts.

The Switzerland international has only been at Sevilla since January, but could already be on the move just a year later.
Spanish outlet Orgullobiri reported on 16 December that Leeds are preparing an offer of around £17.5million ahead of the January window.
Sources within the LaLiga club have suggested “He’s an important asset, but we have to evaluate all the options,” something which looks set to open the door to Leeds.
Villarreal are also interested, but with a larger offer potentially set to come in from Elland Road, Farke could land his target ahead of the Yellow Submarine.
Vargas compares directly to Morgan Rogers at Aston Villa
Rogers is arguably one of the most exciting players in the entire Premier League right now after a stellar spell under Emery at Villa Park.
He has scored five and assisted five across all competitions this season and looks destined to lead England into the 2026 World Cup.
If Leeds could sign someone remotely close to the attacking midfielder, they could set themselves up perfectly to avoid relegation.
That player could be Vargas, who profiles similarly to Rogers and even outperforms him in certain areas of his game.

The Swiss star beats out his Villa counterpart in several aspects, including clearances, aerial duels won, touches, progressive carries and shot-creating actions.
Considering Rogers is seen as one of the best ball carriers and creative forces in the entire Premier League, the latter two points are no mean feat.
If Leeds can get their hands on Vargas, there is every chance he could become a true star and keep the Whites away from the bottom three.
