Calvert-Lewin starts, no room for Championship regular – Leeds perfect XI after transfers
Daniel Farke’s starting 11 almost picks itself after the summer window.
Frustration is lingering in the air at Elland Road after Leeds failed to make any new additions in the latter stages of the summer window.
With that said, 10 new arrivals did check in at Leeds over the course of the summer, all of whom have already made an appearance for the Whites either in the Premier League or in the Carabao Cup.
Now that the window has closed, MOT Leeds News takes a look at the best 11 Farke could field in the Premier League.

Jaka Bijol stars in new Leeds United defence
While Lucas Perri is yet to win the Leeds fans over, he gets the nod in goal for the perfect starting 11, with Illan Meslier certainly nowhere near.
A centre-back partnership of Joe Rodon, who has had to withdraw from the Wales squad, and Jaka Bijol is more than strong enough for a side with the ambitions of Leeds.
Jayden Bogle has been a mainstay for Farke since arriving from Sheffield United, earning his spot on the right side of defence, with summer signing Gabriel Gudmundsson featuring on the opposite side.
Despite Leeds being linked with Kobbie Mainoo, they ended the window with just two midfield additions, and only one of them features in the best XI.
That being Anton Stach, with Ethan Ampadu and Ao Tanaka both playing a slightly deeper role behind the German powerhouse.

Dan James is not Premier League quality
Despite having an excellent season last time out, Dan James has proven time and time again that he is not cut out for what it takes to thrive in the Premier League.
In our best XI, Willy Gnonto takes his place on the right, with Noah Okafor featuring on the left wing.
James compared to Gnonto in the Championship
- Willy Gnonto – 2,280 minutes, nine goals, six assists
- Dan James – 2,616 minutes, 12 goals, nine assists
The Swiss international has his injury troubles, but if he can put them behind him, he can contribute plenty in the top flight.
As for the striker position, Farke really doesn’t have many options.
Joel Piroe was the go-to last year, with Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin joining this summer.
It’s the latter who gets the nod, though, once again, his success at Elland Road will largely be determined by his ability to stay fit.
