Daniel Farke sack finally on the cards as horrific Leeds reveal emerges after loss vs Aston Villa
Daniel Farke is simply not picking up enough points to ease Leeds’ relegation fears after another defeat against Aston Villa on Sunday.
Leeds’ 2-1 loss to Villa leaves them with 11 points from 12 matches, which is the worst points average they’ve managed in over two years.
Lukas Nmecha scored a controversial goal to send Leeds into an early lead after a positive start, but they capitulated once again in the second half.
Morgan Rogers scored a simple flick at the near post to kickstart Villa’s revival, before netting a close-range 75th-minute free-kick to seal the win.
Leeds are now favourites to be relegated, and with tough fixtures on the horizon, the future doesn’t look promising for the German manager.

Leeds’ points average hits a new low under Daniel Farke
The Peacocks have lost six of their last seven Premier League matches, and a consensus has grown that Farke must be sacked.
Leeds have fewer than a point per game average in the league for the first time since matchweek three of the 2023-24 Championship season.
This came at the start of Farke‘s reign, when he got two points from his first three games.
| Stat | Leeds |
| Wins | 3 |
| Draws | 2 |
| Losses | 7 |
| Points | 11 |
| Premier League position | 18th |
Apart from Wolves, every team in the Premier League has been competitive, and it looks like Leeds will need at least 38 points to avoid relegation.
Farke is already under massive pressure, and Leeds’ expected goals underperformance of 2.9 could cost him his job in LS11.
Villa were expected to beat Leeds before the match, but supporters will be furious with the way they chucked away their lead after dominating early on.
This is not the first time it has happened this season, and the Whites are developing a worrying habit of conceding points late in matches.

The mentality is not right under Daniel Farke
Despite taking the early lead against Nottingham Forest on 9 November, goals from Ibrahim Sangare, Morgan Gibbs-White, and Elliott Anderson condemned the visitors to a fifth away defeat of the campaign.
Stoppage-time goals conceded against Fulham and Bournemouth cost them a combined three points, and the team feels incredibly fragile at the moment.
Fans have no faith in Farke to turn around this worrying run of form, and their next three matches are against Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool.
Registering zero points from the next nine available is a very realistic possibility, and Farke’s time in charge of Leeds may be over very soon.
