Calvert-Lewin decision made in one change – Leeds predicted XI vs Tottenham

Daniel Farke’s Leeds United are back at Elland Road once again to face Tottenham this weekend.

Off the back of Leeds United’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth, the Whites return to Elland Road again this weekend for the final clash before yet another international break.

Tottenham are the visitors this weekend, having only just drawn away to Bodo in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

That may play into the hands of Farke’s side, who could make one change for Saturday’s Premier League encounter.

Daniel Farke to make defensive change

Karl Darlow is yet to put a foot wrong since coming in to the team for the injured Lucas Perri, and that is unlikely to change this weekend.

Jayden Bogle and Gabriel Gudmundsson both proved their worth in Leeds‘ recent draw with Bournemouth, and injury permitted, should both start once again against Spurs.

Joe Rodon has established himself as one of the first names on the teamsheet at Leeds this season, though he could be partnered by Jaka Bijol.

Pascal Struijk struggled against the Cherries at times, and this may be the perfect time for Bijol to make his Leeds United debut in the Premier League.

Sean Longstaff stole the headlines for Leeds last time out, meaning his place in the starting 11 is all but cemented this weekend, with Ethan Ampadu likely to partner him once again.

Anton Stach was not at his best against Andoni Iraola’s side, but purely based on the quality we all know he has, he will surely start against Tottenham for the Whites.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin to lead Leeds line again

Dan James is set to miss a few games for Leeds after sustaining an ankle injury in training, and with Willy Gnonto’s availability still unknown, Farke has very few options.

Brenden Aaronson impressed against Bournemouth and is most likely to get the nod again this weekend, ahead of Jack Harrison.

Noah Okafor scored against the Cherries, but for the second time in as many games, he limped off the pitch in the latter stages, though his inclusion will be nailed on if fit.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin‘s missed chances proved costly for Leeds last time out, but Farke is still likely to pick him to lead the line, as he looks to build his confidence after his first goal for the club.
