Leeds United Super Fans want Helder Costa gone amid Valencia interest
This is part of a regular series from our panel of Leeds United Super Fans. Each week, Super Fans from our Leeds Insider Facebook page will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around Elland Road.
Leeds United fans cannot wait to see the back of Helder Costa amid reported interest from Valencia.
Earlier this week, The Athletic journalist Phil Hay reported that Costa’s future at Elland Road is in doubt with clubs in Spain keen on the 27-year-old winger.
It is understood that as Marcelo Bielsa and Victor Orta eye a new addition to their wide options at Leeds, Costa could be someone who’s moved on.

Hay wrote: “Sources in Spain have told The Athletic that La Liga clubs are monitoring Costa, Valencia included. Again, no formal bids have been received.”
Costa has struggled to impress during his spell at Leeds.
In his debut season at Elland Road, he was on loan from Wolves but was by no means a key player in our successful promotion-winning season.
After making his move to Leeds permanent for a whopping £16million, Costa continued to struggle in the Premier League as last season, he managed just 22 league appearances.
He did score three goals and assist three but on the whole, Costa’s performances were not good enough and now, our panel of Leeds Super Fans have said they want him gone.
Here is what they said:

Clearly, Costa isn’t one of the most popular players at the West Yorkshire club and he’s definitely expendable.
It’s very unlikely we’ll make back anywhere near the £16million spent on the winger, who still has another three years left on his contract with the Whites.
We reckon that if Costa goes, he will probably go out on loan with a view to a permanent deal next summer.
In other Leeds United news, Hay claims Bielsa wants this Premier League player badly.
