Leeds Super Fans react to new leaked home shirt

This is part of a regular series from our panel of Leeds United Super Fans. Each week, Super Fans from our Leeds Insider Facebook page will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around Elland Road.

Some Leeds United Super Fans are up in arms after seeing a leak of the 2021/22 home kit for the first time.

Adidas have kept the design simple and their signature three stripes will be yellow, rather than the blue of this season.

It is a small, simple change but many Whites are not at all happy with the new look, with some claiming the designers have been lazy.

Given the strip is rather plain and unexciting it is easy to see why that conclusion has been reached, and as a result the critics have been vocal in their disapproval.

Here is a selection of reactions from our Super Fans to the new kit, which is yet to be officially released.

This is not an ideal way to begin the new season, and we hope the commercial and recruitment team can give fans something to be excited about this summer.

In a weird way 2021/22 may feel like a proper return to the top-flight, as every fan should have the chance to see the team live in action this time around.

And we doubt anybody will care about the kit we wear as long as we equal or better our performances this term.

To do that some additions may need to be made, and we trust we have the right people in place to make those decisions.

If the kit is the biggest moan this summer we will be happy with that.
