Jean-Kevin Augustin posts single-word video message that Leeds fans will love

Dave is a huge Leeds fan and ardent disciple of Bielsa ball. A career in print magazines that included editing PC Zone, launching PokerPlayer and redesigning The Big Issue has finally led Dave to writing about the love of his life, Leeds United. It’s been a tough 2020 but the single scariest moment was the first quarter of the game against Man City. Rodrigo will be the saviour this season.

It was revealed this week that Leeds United striker Jean-Kevin Augustin is getting special treatment at Thorp Arch.

Athletic journalist Phil Hay said that he was one of the few Leeds players who are training at Thorp Arch after his hamstring problem.

He is working on sprint mechanics in a bid to get to match fitness and avoid any recurrence of his recent injury.

And he's working hard. Augustin posted an Instagram story on Wednesday night with a single-word message – "Done" along with tick & strong-arm emojis.

In the short video, Augustin is in his training kit and dripping with sweat after what was obviously a tough workout.

He ends the video by flexing his arm.

Augustin is still looking for his first Leeds start after a slow start since signing in January.

However, this shows his commitment to fitness is strong and he looks a lot leaner in the video than he did when he first arrived at Leeds.

Leeds Live journalist Beren Cross had questioned whether Augustin would want to sign for Leeds in the summer after his lack of game time.

We think this shows the sort of determination that Leeds fans will absolutely love and it could be that the long lay-off plays into his hands.

We've got faith that he could still play an important part in the rest of this season – whenever that plays out.
