Watch as Jack Harrison already does something he failed to do at Leeds United all season

Jack Harrison could finally be closing in on a permanent exit from Leeds United.

Harrison joined Fiorentina on loan in January, but there is an option in the deal to make his switch to Italy a permanent stay from the summer.

After two seasons on loan at Everton while Leeds were in the Championship, there were several moments of disrespect, including from his mother.

So, it was no surprise when Harrison wasn’t exactly welcomed back with open arms this summer.

So, it was a fresh start for Harrison in Florence, and it has started well.

In only his second appearance off the bench in Serie A on Saturday, the winger provided an assist for Moise Kean to score in a 2-2 draw with Torino.

It was a slick counterattack with Harrison on the right, as he laid the ball centrally for Kean to smash home, but it was a stoppage-time equaliser that left them heartbroken.

Manor Solomon also scored for Fiorentina, but the draw wasn’t enough to take them out of the relegation zone on goal difference, with Lecce ahead.

How did Harrison perform at Leeds this season?

In his limited Premier League minutes, not very well.

Harrison only made one start in the league, as Leeds lost 2-0 at Burnley back in October, but he was reduced to very rare appearances after that.

Another outing came recently against Derby in the FA Cup, but once again, he failed to produce.

Funnily enough, Harrison’s assist in his second Fiorentina appearance was his first of the entire season, as he failed to create anything at Leeds.

You can quickly forget just how effective Harrison has been at Leeds over the years, though, as he played a huge role in getting them back to the Premier League.

Not only that, but he shone upon our return too, with eight goals and eight assists in his first full year in the Premier League at Elland Road.

Sometimes, things just come to a natural end, and Harrison will agree that a permanent exit is the best thing for all parties at the end of the year, whether it’s Fiorentina or elsewhere.
