Victor Orta must pack his bags now, he has embarrassed Leeds United one too many times

Leeds United are now staring relegation from the Premier League square in the face, and it is nothing more than they deserve at this moment in time.

On the pitch, the squad have been nothing short of shocking with no real desire or anything shown in the dreadful 1-0 defeat against Everton on Saturday 18 February.

Things off the pitch have been even worst though, and Victor Orta, Andrea Radrizzani and Angus Kinnear have yet again made a dogs’ dinner of things in the boardroom.

Orta is the one who often takes the headlines though, and that is because he cannot help himself and simply act in a normal manner at Elland Road.

Leeds have not won since November against Bournemouth and footage has been doing the rounds again of the Spaniard shushing home fans and screaming “sack the board.”

Where is he now?

Jesse Marsch has been sacked, but realistically, there was no point in doing that now. The Whites are playing the exact same style and system, just with Michael Skubala, a man with zero experience, in charge.

That is not his fault, but leaving him in charge is simply signing away our Premier League status, and either the 49ers need to step in now or the likes of Orta have to pack their bags.

Embarrassing.

The manager hunt takes away any credibility from the signings like Wilfried Gnonto, but when you look at someone like Georginio Rutter, that looks like huge money wasted already.

Leeds look embarrassing right now, and although the players do need to step up more, they have still been thrown under the bus by the current situation in the boardroom.

If Skubala is still in charge next week after what happened at Everton, this club is a complete mess.

Orta has embarrassed this club far too many times now, and we’ve had enough, the Whites have well and truly become a laughing stock yet again.

Time to go.
