Leeds fans have got an excuse to stay up late tonight as the much-vaunted documentary Take Us Home drops onto Amazon at midnight.
The six-part docu-series highlights Marcelo Bielsa’s first season in charge of Leeds and his thrilling attempt to get the club back into the Premier League.
We know the ending but that shouldn’t make the journey any less enjoyable.
Narrated by Russell Crowe, Take Us Home has been made by Leeds-based production company, The City Talking, who made ‘Do You Want To Win?’, the story of the 91/92 season when the Whites beat Man United to the title.
There’s exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and a very rare interview with Bielsa himself, a man who is famed for never giving one-on-ones.
Spygate gets the full treatment too, as does the Daniel James transfer debacle and the Bielsa training methods.
It’s essential viewing for any football fan but for Leeds fans it’s a document of one of the best seasons ever at the club.
