Richard Keys made to look like an idiot after what he said about Leeds player vs Tottenham
Leeds were narrowly beaten at home by Tottenham on Saturday.
Leeds’ unbeaten home record came to an end on Saturday lunchtime, losing 2-1 to Tottenham at Elland Road.
Daniel Farke’s side played well, but could not peg Spurs back after falling behind early in the second half.
Leeds will travel to Turf Moor to face fellow promoted side Burnley after the international break, as they look to bounce back.

Richard Keys gets it wrong with Leeds decision
Richard Keys is no stranger to offering his opinion, regardless of the scenario, and he did so again in the Leeds vs Tottenham game.
Sean Longstaff was bundled over in the middle of the park, winning a free-kick, but stayed down after the challenge.
There was confusion when the Englishman stood up to take the free-kick, as players who receive treatment need to exit the field of play before coming back on.
Keys took to X to offer the observation: “Why didn’t Longstaff leave the pitch after treatment? He took the fk“, followed by a shrug emoji.
What the BEIN Sports broadcaster didn’t realise was that Longstaff did not get any treatment from the Leeds medical staff, so did not need to leave the field.
Keys clearly wasn’t watching the game properly and got it completely wrong.
Sean Longstaff continues to impress for Leeds
Longstaff has been one of Leeds’ best signings this summer, and has offered a real spark in Leeds’midfield.
Anton Stach was full of praise for his Leeds teammate, demonstrating his value to Farke’s outfit.
The Englishman arrived at Elland Road after being out of favour at Newcastle, but has solidified himself as a fan favourite at his new club.
- Longstaff came through the Newcastle academy and made 171 appearances for his boyhood club.
- Leeds signed him in the summer for £12 million
- He has played in every single Premier League game for Leeds this season
His performance against Tottenham showcased what he is all about, covering every blade of grass and flying into tackles.
Longstaff will have a long future at Elland Road if he continues to produce the type of displays he has early in the season.
