Player who left Leeds in summer could return already, it would be a huge boost for Daniel Farke

Largie Ramazani could return to Elland Road in a matter of days.

Ahead of Leeds’ clash with Sunderland on Sunday, the Whites have a six-point cushion on the relegation zone.

Leeds will be looking to widen that gap as the campaign goes on, and their ability to do so will largely be determined by the business they can do in January.

Not only will they be looking to make new additions to their squad, but Daniel Farke will have decisions to make over several of those contracted at Elland Road.

One of them is Ramazani, whose return could hand the Whites a big boost.

Leeds can recall Ramazani in January

To many peoples suprise, Leeds opted to loan Ramazani out in the summer, where he would go on to join Valencia.

The former Belgium youth international showed a few promising signs in the early days in La Liga, but his chances of making a career there have dwindled since, with Ramazani yet to start a league game for them.

The Athletic reported that Leeds do have the ability to recall Ramazani in January should they want to, and given his lack of gametime, it would make sense.

What they would do from there can only be speculated, but it would leave Farke with two very good options.

Either Leeds can utilise him in the Premier League, and given the impact he had in the Championship, that would be beneficial, or they could move him on.

Perhaps it is the latter that would be a bigger boost for the Whites.

Leeds would definitely benefit from Ramazani decision

Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s form has been the biggest turning point, but Farke’s decision to play without wingers has also benefited the team.

If that were to remain, there would be little need for Ramazani, but the boost could come from his sale.

Leeds could recall the winger and look for a new club for him permanently, which would be a big boost to their PSR position.

While they would be unlikely to generate significant funds from his exit, it would be enough to bring in at least one new face in a position that suits this current system.
