Patrick Bamford exit now on cards as Leeds United look at another striker transfer
Leeds United are set for a busy end to the summer transfer window at Elland Road with new signings and potentially more outgoings on the cards.
The marquee signing of the summer is no doubt done, with Joel Piroe signing from Swansea and scoring two days later on his debut in the 4-3 win over Ipswich Town.
Daniel Farke may not be done there in the final third though, with Football Transfers reporting that the Whites are still looking at West Ham powerhouse Michail Antonio.

Where does that leave Patrick Bamford?
After picking up an injury against Hearts in pre-season, the England international was confirmed to be missing until after the international break.
With games against Salford and Sheffield Wednesday before that happens, you would have to think that another new signing could see him call quits at Elland Road.
Any exit would be a last-gasp move given that Farke would never sanction it without a replacement, which could be Antonio, as unlikely as that sounds right now.

It has been a nightmare few years for Bamford, but Farke will potentially rather give him the chance than blow big money on Antonio and his Premier League wages.
Add that to the fact that the Jamaican international is currently starting under David Moyes and scored against Brighton over the weekend, a lot of things would need to change for this to happen.
Piroe is the new main man at Elland Road, and if Bamford can’t get used to that, he may look to potentially move on regardless of if someone new is signed on top of that.
Since the 2021/22 season, Bamford has missed 306 days of action, not including his current absence and 40 games in total, that is an entire season [Transfermarkt].
That simply isn’t good enough, and we could see some serious changes over the next four days.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are trying to find a way to bring in a forgotten Premier League talent before the window shuts.
