Meslier replaced, four new starters – Leeds Premier League predicted XI
Leeds United have a huge summer of recruitment ahead of them after they sealed promotion back to the Premier League.
Up until the 6-0 hammering of Stoke City, promotion was the only thing that mattered for Leeds and Daniel Farke.
However, now it has been confirmed, their attention will turn to the summer transfer window as they prepare for life back in the Premier League.
With that in mind, MOT Leeds News predicts how the Whites could line up next season as per the latest transfer links.

Aaron Ramsdale to replace Illan Meslier
GK- Aaron Ramsdale
Illan Meslier is almost certainly going to be replaced in the summer, and Aaron Ramsdale has already been linked with a move. He would be a welcome addition.
RB – Jayden Bogle
Jayden Bogle has been influential for Leeds this season, and despite his troubles last time in the top flight, he should be their starting right back.
CB – Joe Rodon
Leeds would not have been promoted without Joe Rodon, who has been a remarkable defender all season. His place in the starting XI is under little doubt.
CB – Ethan Ampadu
Farke may look to strengthen his defensive numbers, but any addition is unlikely to dethrone Ethan Ampadu or Rodon at the heart of defence.
LB – Junior Firpo
Junior Firpo’s contract is up at the end of the campaign, but after what has been an impressive season, there is every chance they will look to extend it.
CM – Kalvin Phillips
Kalvin Phillips has been heavily rumoured for a Leeds return this summer, and he would instantly walk into the Whites’ midfield.
Appearances | Goals | Assists |
41 | 4 | 2 |
CM – Ao Tanaka
Ao Tanaka has arguably been the star performer this season and deserves a shot in the Premier League.

Leeds to sign a new striker this summer
RW- Dan James
Similar to Tanaka, Dan James has shone in the Championship, and he will have a point to prove next season.
AM- Emi Buendia
Leeds were constantly linked with Emi Buendia in the winter, and Farke may look to make a move again in the summer.
LW- Manor Solomon
Leeds remain keen on signing Manor Solomon permanently, and if so, he would start for them on the left.
ST – Josh Sargent
Despite Joel Piroe’s record this season, Leeds will be in the market for a new striker, and Josh Sargent may be the one they look at.
