Legal team may have saved Leeds United £24.5million ahead of January transfer window
Leeds United headed into December in great form with the Championship promotion race really heating up around the country, not just at Elland Road.
Despite a rocky start to the summer, Daniel Farke managed to put together a team capable of anything, with their current form among the best in the entire division.
That may mean that the January transfer window is quieter than usual, although an unexpected windfall may be around the corner for the 49ers Enterprises.

AP reported on 21 September that the Whites had once again appealed a wage settlement with Jean-Kevin Augustin, going back to CAS over a £24.5million outlay.
The hearing was set to take place on November 16, with no update from Switzerland or the club and player so far over the potential outcome, if any yet.
Should the 49ers legal team have more success than Andrea Radrizzani did at the time, it could represent a real chunk of windfall that can be put towards transfers.

All in all, Farke will be happy with the squad available to him, but with loan spots open to use and the potential of bids for some of our star players, anything can happen.
£24.5million would not go a miss for any Championship club, and the owners surely wouldn’t have pursued another appeal if they didn’t think they would be successful.
Some interesting developments are ahead, and if an answer arrives before the January transfer window, we may see a busier month than many had initially anticipated.
The 49ers will be awaiting that all-important answer.
