Leeds United upper hand emerges for Yacine Titraoui transfer, price tag revealed

Charleroi want around £7million for midfielder Yacine Titraoui in the summer transfer window amid interest from Leeds United.

The Algeria international has the Premier League in his sights, with the Jupiler Pro League outfit seemingly ready to do business on their terms, according to Africafoot.

On 25 February, the news outlet reports that the Belgian club’s position is clear, given the 22-year-old’s sporting progress and development potential.

Titraoui has emerged as a target at Elland Road, and the West Yorkshire outfit may have an upper hand over their competitors in the race for his signature.

Yacine Titraoui to snub Wolves as Leeds United push for Premier League safety

Wolves have made a concrete offer for Titraoui, but the midfielder and his representatives are reluctant to accept it.

It’s been claimed that the Algerian ace prefers a move to the Premier League, but the West Midlands outfit are on the brink of relegation this season.

The young prospect might reject a move to the Molineux Stadium due to their top-flight uncertainty, which will surely be a major boost at Elland Road.

While Sunderland have also been credited with interest in Titraoui, the Whites will be confident about being able to fend off the likes of Wolves.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see the West Yorkshire outfit make a concrete approach for the Algeria international once they secure Premier League safety, with Daniel Farke’s team currently six points ahead of the relegation zone with 11 games to go.

Titraoui has shown a knack for scoring goals from midfield, with four goals in 24 league appearances.

In the current campaign, Brenden Aaronson has had a bit of a resurgence, with Farke showing immense faith in the USA international in recent months.

The German manager has opted for the American midfielder as his creative outlet in the middle of the park, having switched to the 5-3-2 formation.

If Titraoui were to sign for the Whites, they may be open to selling one of their prized midfield assets due to the quality in depth, but only time will tell what next summer will bring in LS11.
