Leeds United to face more neglect after what Paraag Marathe said about Rangers
Paraag Marathe finds himself between a rock and a hard place with Leeds United and Rangers.
Leeds United sit 15th in the Premier League table, having won just one of their last five games before the international break.
On the other side of the 49ers ownership, Rangers have just sacked Russell Martin after a dismal start to the campaign.
As a result, Marathe has been forced to release a statement on behalf of the latter, and it showcases exactly where he has been going wrong.

Rangers now have Paraag Marathe’s ‘full attention’
The 49ers faced serious scrutiny in the summer at Elland Road as a result of their inability to bolster the forward line, with many feeling as though they left Leeds short in that department.
On the flip side, Rangers were sealing late deals right up to the final second of the window, while the Whites went a week without a signing since the arrival of James Justin.
That was the first sign of Marathe and the 49ers having their priority in Glasgow, and after the Light Blues moved to sack Martin, their statement on his dismissal suggests a similar will happen again.

Via the Rangers site, Marathe’s statement alongside Andrew Cavenagh reads: “The evaluation will have our full attention until we are confident we have a leader with the character and skillset to deliver results.“
It certainly raises the question as to where they see Leeds United in the future.
Leeds United deserve their own attention
Deserve or need? That can be argued. Though it certainly feels like more of the latter.
Leeds, albeit having had a fairly solid start to life in the Premier League, are 15th in the table and in the midst of a relegation battle.
Surviving is hard enough, but when the owners only have half of their focus on achieving that goal, it becomes increasingly difficult.
While it may not be overly important right now, the 49ers cannot afford to repeat their errors when winter arrives, and if they do, it could prove costly.
