Leeds United target Roony Bardghji can boost Premier League survival chances with ‘perfect’ trait
Daniel Farke wants to bolster his Leeds United squad with quality in January, seeing a window of opportunity to sign talented forwards.
Leeds drew 3-3 against Liverpool on Sunday, coming back from behind on two occasions to salvage a point at Elland Road.
The majority inside the ground were impressed by the battling qualities their side showed, as Leeds continued in their 5-3-2 formation.
Farke first trialled out that system in the second half of their 3-2 defeat to Manchester City, and since then, the Whites have taken four points from a possible six against Chelsea and Liverpool.
But with Leeds only sitting two points above 18th-place West Ham as it stands, quality additions in January are necessary for them to achieve survival.

Hansi Flick hails Roony Bardghji’s ‘perfect’ mentality
In a bid to add more firepower to their forward line, MOT Leeds News revealed that Leeds have shown an interest in Barcelona’s Roony Bardghji.
The 20-year-old, who joined the Spanish giants from Copenhagen in the summer, is open to leaving the Camp Nou after seeing his minutes restricted.
Bardghji has only played 241 minutes in La Liga, although he did grab a goal and assist on Saturday during Barcelona’s 5-3 win over Real Betis.
Hansi Flick is a big fan of the Swedish international, having previously hailed his ‘perfect’ mentality, something Leeds could lend in their battle for survival.
“Roony had a great training session, the mentality, as I said, is perfect.” Flick said in September in a post-match interview, while further underscoring the team’s attitude, stating: “Only eleven players are playing, and everyone wants to play; the attitude is perfect.”
Adding someone with Champions League experience to the ranks could be essential to avoiding relegation, with Bardghji also boasting elite-level talent.
Gabriel Gudmundsson could be key to Bardghji transfer
Whilst a transfer for Bardghji is arguably a pipe dream, especially after watching him destroy Real Betis, there is one player who could persuade him to join the West Yorkshire outfit.
That is Swedish international teammate Gabriel Gudmundsson, who has been immense for Leeds since joining from Lille in the summer transfer window.
Gudmundsson has played alongside Bardghji on three occasions for the national team, and will surely have a close contract with the youngster.
So, if a loan transfer does materialise and the Barcelona man is available to sign, Gudmundsson could sell the project to him.
