Leeds United should thrash Middlesbrough as Daniel Farke makes starting XI decision on Georginio Rutter

Leeds United will be keen to continue their good run of form with a victory against Middlesbrough on Saturday (2 December).

The Whites welcome Boro to Elland Road with quite a difference between the two clubs in terms of league standings, but not in terms of points.

Leeds are seven places but only eight points ahead of their upcoming opponents, with that gap of course decreasing if the visitors can clinch all three points at Elland Road.

But the hosts should be confident of finishing the match as victors given their strong run of form, with their most recent win coming against Swansea City on Wednesday (29 November).

Home supporters may even be confident of a huge win on home soil after manager Daniel Farke opted to name an unchanged team from the 3-1 win against the Swans.

And that means another start for Georginio Rutter, who along with his goal against Swansea made two key passes, as well as completing five of his eight attempted dribble [Sofascore].

No changes from Farke means Illan Meslier continues in goal, with Archie Gray and Sam Byram continuing at right-back and left-back respectively, joined by Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk in defence.

Ethan Ampadu and Glen Kamara keep their midfield spots, with Daniel James and Crysencio Summerville remaining out wide. Piroe also retains his spot in the final third alongside Rutter.

If the talented attackers can continue from where they left off against Swansea, the Elland Road faithful should have the stadium bouncing in no time against Boro, with Rutter keen to extend his goals and assists tallies once more.
