Leeds United promoted: Five stars who could quit Elland Road before Premier League

Leeds United could lose up to five players during the summer transfer window ahead of their Premier League return.

The Whites secured their place in the English top flight for next season with an emphatic 6-0 win against Stoke, showcasing their full attacking qualities.

Daniel Farke will now be looking at how he can build his team moving forward to the point where it’s ready to compete in the Premier League and avoid the drop.

The last two seasons have seen all three promoted teams go straight back down, therefore, the need to have a strong squad is paramount for the Yorkshire giants.

Leeds are set to lose up to three players for free

Even though Leeds will be trying to bring players into Elland Road during the summer transfer window, there is also the possibility that they will end up losing some.

Sam Byram is one player that Leeds might end up without, even though he has played 37 times for the Whites during this term.

The experienced defender is out of contract in the summer, and that could see him move on from Leeds on a free transfer.

Josuha Guilavogui is in a similar situation, although he has only appeared sporadically, which might lead to Farke not worrying about his contract.

Junior Firpo is another Leeds star who is out of contract at the end of the season, and losing his attacking qualities would be a significant blow.

Leeds United will aim to sell a couple more

Patrick Bamford isn’t out of contract this summer, but he is someone that the Whites are expected to try and cash in on, with Joel Piroe preferred.

The veteran striker has struggled for game time this season due to injuries and managerial decisions, and it appears that his future may lie elsewhere.

Pascal Struijk has also been linked with a move away from Leeds United, which would be a significant blow due to his defensive qualities, but injuries are becoming a real worry.

One thing for certain, Leeds are set for massive changes.
