Leeds United need US invasion for the long term good of the club
There is a real possibility that Leeds United will have not just one or even two, but three influences from the United States in the very near future.
The Whites are owned by Andrea Radrizzani and NFL franchise the San Francisco 49ers which has already provided added American exposure as well as much-needed funds.
But they could be adding much more influence from across the pond ahead of next season if reports are to be believed.

RB Salzburg midfielder Brenden Aaronson has been a target for Leeds for some time but they could face seeing a deal for the 21-year-old being hijacked in the summer [CBS Sports Golazo].
He will still be on the radar of the Elland Road club despite the added interest and that will have only grown after his star display in the Champions League against Bayern Munich.
The third, and maybe most crucial, component of the US invasion of Yorkshire would be the appointment of Jesse Marsch as the club’s manager.
The Telegraph now claim that the former RB Leipzig head coach is Radrizzani’s first choice to replace Marcelo Bielsa if he were to leave at the end of the 2021-22 season.

This could be huge news for Leeds United and it might be the catalyst that lifts them from mid-table obscurity in the Premier League to European challengers and beyond.
It won’t be an immediate rise sadly but the presence of the club in the United States should see commercial revenue boosted dramatically and over time, they will be in a good place to succeed.
It is going to require patience in the short term but this is a very exciting time to be a fan of Leeds United, despite lying 15th in the league at this stage.
In other Leeds United news, the early team news from Bielsa suggests a new blow for a star Whites player.
