Leeds United must sign Bazoumana Toure as long-term Manor Solomon replacement

Leeds United need to sign £5million-rated Bazoumana Toure before Manor Solomon leaves the club at the end of the season.

Since the start of the campaign, Leeds have been touted as one of the most likely clubs to gain promotion after they narrowly missed out last term.

Their summer window was fairly solid and saw several players brought into Elland Road such as the Israel international who have helped bolster their ranks.

However, if Toure was brought to West Yorkshire in January, it feels like Leeds would have already found their replacement for the attacker.

The 18-year-old has been in stellar form this season, contributing to 21 goals for Hammarby in all competitions.

Teams such as West Ham United and Aston Villa are among those who have been linked with a move for the left-winger and Leeds have now also thrown their hat into the ring.

While the Whites already have several players who can play on the flanks, having Toure within their squad would be the icing on top of the cake.

Why Bazoumana Toure is perfect Manor Solomon replacement for Leeds United

As aforementioned, Solomon and Largie Ramazani were brought in over the summer and while the duo have had good starts to life at Elland Road, the fact the former is only on loan is a cause for concern.

Leeds’ performances this season have been fairly decent. The Whites are currently third in the second tier, five points adrift of league leaders Sunderland.

While a five-point gap isn’t too much ground for Leeds to hack away at, it feels like they’ll soon have to step things up a gear if they wish to gain Premier League promotion.

Toure’s addition to Daniel Farke’s ranks would help ease some of the pressure from his attackers and would allow them to focus their recruitment efforts elsewhere in the summer.

Wilfried Gnonto Italy
Leeds United winger Wilfried Gnonto is a full Italian international.

Toure would cost the club pennies meaning he would more or less be a risk-free signing and, with the form he’s shown in Sweden’s top flight, it’s undeniable that he has a bright future ahead of him.

Only time will tell whether the West Yorkshire outfit will make a move for the 18-year-old but, on paper, it feels like a no-brainer.
