Leeds United must learn from past injury errors after four injured v Wolves
Leeds United may have come from 2-0 down to dramatically win away at Wolves on Friday night but things weren’t all rosy for the Whites.
Jesse Marsch had both of his hands tied when it came to making changes for tactical reasons as the American was forced into four substitutes through injury.
One of those was a concussion sub as Mateusz Klich got a clattering but Patrick Bamford, Diego Llorente and Illan Meslier also had to make way before the hour mark.

Meslier’s knock looked to be just an impact problem after he and Raul Jimenez collided in the area, eventually culminating in the Mexican’s second yellow card but Bamford is the one most fans will be gutted to see.
The England international himself was visibly upset when he trudged off after just 23 minutes having spent so much of the season injured already.
White hearts broke all over the world seeing last season’s top scorer in such disarray but it is hardly surprising given the club’s previous track record this campaign.
We’ve seen at least once before this season Bamford be rushed back into Premier League football before he was properly ready and once again it backfired at Molineux last night.

It wasn’t an absolute necessity for him to start either as teenager Joe Gelhardt, who scored the winner against Norwich last weekend, looked ready to lead the line from the beginning.
Bamford’s experience may have played a part in Marsch’s thinking but it would have been nice to see him trust in his young talent to stand up when it matters.
Now it seems like the Whites will be without their talisman for even longer and to be honest, it’s all their own doing.
