Leeds United must act now to sign Ryan Kent as reunion touted
Leeds United must act quickly if they want to sign Ryan Kent on a free transfer amid growing interest in the attacker.
The Scottish Sun reported via its website on 10 November that Championship rivals Preston North End have entered the race to sign the 27-year-old, with Paul Heckingbottom eyeing a reunion with him.
Leyton Orient are also plotting an ambitious move for the former Liverpool man, meaning the Whites may be running out of time to acquire his services.
Leeds United must act now to sign Ryan Kent
Leeds United’s interest in Ryan Kent is not new, having been linked with him during Marcelo Bielsa’s time at Elland Road in 2021 [The Scottish Sun].
With the attacker without a club after tearing up his contract at Fenerbahce, the Whites could finally bring him to West Yorkshire.
Leeds are not short of options on the wings, with Dan James, Wilfried Gnonto, Manor Solomon and Largie Ramazani already at the club.
However, as a free agent, Kent provides a low-risk option to the club as they look to earn their way back into the Premier League this season.
It only takes an injury or two during the upcoming busy schedule to leave Daniel Farke short of options in attack and Kent’s experience could come in handy.

The Whites may also have an advantage over Preston and Leyton Orient in the race to sign the attacker as they could offer him a pathway to the Premier League.
Preston are are 20th in the Championship, while Leyton languish in the same position a tier below.
