Leeds United have transfer priorities wrong after new Sky Sports update
Leeds United will be in the market for a number 10 in January and it is a sign that they have their transfer priorities wrong.
As reported by Gary Weaver on Sky Sports Football, (7 December, 1:38 pm) the Whites will be chasing the signing of a new playmaker in January.
This is despite their deficiencies clearly lying elsewhere as highlighted by Darren Bent.
The signing of a number 10 wouldn’t be a bad thing at Elland Road but it is far from being their number one priority if they are to achieve promotion this season.
Leeds United must sign a striker in January
Creativity hasn’t been a concern for Leeds this season, the ability to finish their chances has been and a clinical finisher has to be the priority before any other addition is made.
Joel Piroe and Mateo Joseph have been the two regulars under Daniel Farke but neither have been able to set the league alight. Both have contributed without demonstrating the necessary attributes to be a starting number nine in a promotion-chasing side.
Recent reports from Sport5 have shared an official approach from the Whites for Maccabi Tel Aviv striker Dor Turgeman and that is cause for optimism as Leeds are aware of their weakness.

The signing of a striker could prove to be the deciding factor behind any success that they can achieve this season and it would be a bad look for the club if they fail to acquire one.
Farke’s men are within touching distance of the top spot in the Championship and the signing of a clinical striker would all but confirm their promotion back to the Premier League.
