Leeds United have one priceless asset that may help them avoid Premier League relegation
Leeds United have an opportunity to take a big leap towards Premier League safety by beating Manchester City on Saturday.
Elland Road will welcome Pep Guardiola’s team on 28 February, with the Whites currently six points above the relegation zone.
The West Yorkshire outfit are seen as one of the favourites to avoid the drop from the top flight this season, but Daniel Farke would be foolish to take the foot off the gas just yet.
With 11 games to go in the league, the Peacocks are yet to guarantee their survival, but they may have something their rivals don’t.

Leeds United fans in full support of Daniel Farke and players
Leeds have a togetherness that’s not seen from most of the other teams in the bottom half of the Premier League table, Scott Minto says.
The former Chelsea and West Ham United defender believes that from 13th down in the league, the Whites are the only side where fans and the club are on the same page.
It’s arguably a priceless asset for the West Yorkshire outfit to have as they hope to end the season on a high note.
Speaking on talkSPORT on 27 February, Minto said, “I look at it from 13th down and I think they’re the only club where it feels like everyone is in it together. The fans are right behind the manager and the players. And you can’t put a price on that.”
Crystal Palace, Brighton & Hove Albion, Tottenham and Nottingham Forest have all had their issues in the current campaign.
As for Wolves and Burnley, they seem destined to go down, while West Ham may have an uphill battle to get out of 18th place.
49ers Enterprises deserve credit after what’s seen at Elland Road
Farke was under immense pressure from last summer, with many wondering whether he was the right person to lead the Whites in the Premier League.
Leeds endured an underwhelming start to the season under the German manager and with talks of his sacking growing louder, 49ers Enterprises stuck by him.

The American owners are now reaping their rewards as Farke has turned things around at the West Yorkshire outfit.
Supporters in LS11 have been buoyed by the results since the 3-2 defeat to Man City in the reverse fixture in November, and the Elland Road faithful are now dreaming of what next season will bring in the Premier League.
