Leeds United have next Raphinha in waiting as Finley Gorman footage emerges

Leeds United fans missing now FC Barcelona attacker Raphinha lighting up their weekends may need to look no further with Finley Gorman impressing at the youth level.

Still only 14, the English winger is proving to be a handful for players at the under-16s and under-18s level.

Rising Ballers, a Twitter account dedicated to spotting and platforming the best names in youth football, have shared never-seen-before footage of the teenage sensation.

Much like Raphinha, he prefers to play on the right flank and cut inside to create chances either for himself or his teammates.

He’s also got a lanky frame but is good at holding onto the ball and dealing with defenders looking to bring him to the ground with their aggression.

Not only is he a good dribbler, but he also seems to have an immaculate passing range which can be seen in the clips shared in the video.

Raphinha had that technical ability to spot a pass 50 yards away and that was very crucial in transition for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

Delivering 20 goals + assists in his last nine games, Gorman is soon becoming Thorp Arch’s worst-kept secret.

While a first-team push is too premature it will not be surprising if in the next 12 months, he’s being called up to the under-21s side.

One thing is clear, the Englishman appears to be miles ahead in terms of his development as compared to others his age so the sky is the limit for him.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites tabled multiple enquiries to sign a multi-million international winger ahead of the transfer deadline.
