Leeds have Mateo Joseph replacement lined up as talks ongoing amid exit news
Leeds United could potentially replace Mateo Joseph with Besiktas striker Semih Kilicsoy this transfer window.
The 19-year-old has shown a lot of potential at the Super Lig outfit, and it isn’t surprising to see the Whites keeping an eye on him.
Kilicsoy has emerged as a target at Elland Road and have shown serious intention to sign the Turkey international in the coming weeks.
Real Betis want to sign Joseph, and while they have been unable to come to an agreement with the West Yorkshire outfit so far, the 21-year-old centre-forward may have forced Daniel Farke to sell him.

Joseph asks Daniel Farke for Leeds United transfer as Cagliari negotiate for Kilicsoy
Joseph has asked for an exit from Leeds in the ongoing transfer window, Farke shared.
The Athletic journalist Beren Cross relayed the German manager’s revelation on X (22 July), with the Spanish youngster demanding a transfer away from Elland Road.
It’s been claimed that Joseph was expected to be in Germany with the Whites’ squad for their eight-day pre-season training camp, but has stayed in the UK.

The West Yorkshire outfit may have the perfect replacement for the 21-year-old in Kilicsoy, but they may have to move quickly to pull off a move.
Cagliari are in talks with Besiktas to sign the Turkish centre-forward on loan with an option to buy, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
On the Italian journalist’s website (21 July), it’s been revealed that the Serie A outfit are in ongoing negotiations with the Istanbul club to sign the 19-year-old.
Kilicsoy perfect replacement for Joseph at Leeds
Kilicsoy has caught a lot of people’s attention in Turkey, and he may be the right fit for Farke’s plans at Leeds.
The 19-year-old has been around the Super Lig outfit’s first-team setup for a few years now, making his debut in 2023 after being a prolific goalscorer in the youth sides.
Despite coming off the bench mostly, the centre-forward was a key player for the Istanbul club, and the attacker’s versatility saw him play on the left wing on several occasions.
Now that Joseph has made his intentions clear to Farke, it wouldn’t make sense to stand in his way, and the Whites should immediately look to hijack a deal for Kilicsoy.
