Leeds United have every right to be furious as new Premier League request made
Leeds United could see another of their festive fixtures moved.
With relegation still on the mind of Leeds United, the festive period is set to play a crucial role when it comes to deciding how the Whites attack the January window.
Leeds have picked up 11 points from their first 10 games, but the optimism from a solid start has slowly started to drain away.
Sky Sports have already faced ridicule this month for their late announcement over the Christmas fixtures, and Leeds could be set to see another game moved, just over a month away from its scheduled date.

Crystal Palace fixture could be moved
Leeds have a bad enough fixture schedule as it is, with clashes against Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea all approaching in the next few weeks.
However, the Whites are due to host Crystal Palace at Elland Road on 21 December once those fixtures are out of the way.
Due being the keyword, as, according to Ed Aarons, Oliver Glasner confirmed that the Eagles have made a request to the Premier League that would see that game pulled forward by a day, to 20 December.
The Crystal Palace boss is said to be asking about the change in order for the Eagles to have more time to prepare for their Carabao Cup quarter-final with Arsenal on 23 December.
As for Leeds’ playing schedule, it shouldn’t have too much of an impact.
The change would see them play Palace six days after an away clash with Brentford, and eight days before they travel to face Sunderland.
However, given that the game is just over a month away, it is a fair assumption to make that several Leeds fans may have already made travel plans, given the long distance, and this change would once again disrupt that.

Leeds’ Christmas could be ruined by Premier League fixtures
Aside from the late fixture changes, with more potentially to come, the Whites have some remarkably difficult encounters ahead.
With a trip to Nottingham Forest up next, Leeds’ next five fixtures are all against teams currently playing European football.
If anything, it demonstrates just how crucial a win will be when they face Sean Dyche’s side, with it very hard to see where the points will come from after that.
