Leeds United ‘finally have Meslier replacement’ after huge Caoimhin Kelleher update
Illan Meslier may have already played his final Leeds United game, as Liverpool have made a massive decision on Caoimhin Kelleher.
Daniel Farke has dropped Meslier from the Whites’ starting lineup after the shot-stopper made some significant errors in recent matches, leading to uncertainty about his future.
Karl Darlow has been deputising in between the sticks for the West Yorkshire outfit, but they’ll arguably need someone better than him if they return to the Premier League.
Kelleher has been linked with a switch to Elland Road, and the Peacocks could possibly be optimistic about completing a transfer soon.

Meslier finished at Leeds United after Farke decision
Farke made a bold decision to drop Meslier as the Whites looked to secure top spot in the Championship, and it has paid off.
The German manager no longer trusts the 25-year-old, and his time at Elland Road seems finished.
If and when the West Yorkshire outfit return to the Premier League, it would be surprising to see the French goalkeeper being relied on.
The Peacocks will evidently need to buy a new shot-stopper in the upcoming transfer window, and experience of the English top flight will come in handy.

49ers Enterprises must bring Kelleher to Elland Road after Liverpool update
Farke will need 49ers Enterprises’ backing next summer to have the best chance of maintaining their Premier League status once the Peacocks get there.
As things stand, the Whites are top of the league table, level on points with Burnley, and look set to be one of the sides to return to the English top flight.
Sheffield United are third in the Championship, five points behind the Peacocks after their 2-1 loss to Plymouth on Saturday (12 April).
With Leeds apparently favourites for promotion with four league games left to play, they’ve learned Liverpool may sell Kelleher next summer, according to The Sun.
Player | Appearances (2024/25) | Goals conceded | Clean sheets |

The new outlet reports (14 April) that the Reds are open to the Ireland international’s departure and want around £20million for him.
It’s been claimed that the 26-year-old wants regular game time, which the Whites could potentially provide in the upcoming campaign if Meslier leaves.
Kelleher has been a reliable goalkeeper for Liverpool over the years, and his arrival would arguably be a significant boost in the West Yorkshire outfit’s hopes of staying in the Premier League if they are promoted.
But before a deal for the 26-year-old can be concluded, it feels like the Peacocks will need to get back into the English top flight to have a chance of signing him.
