Leeds United fans will curse Andrea Radrizzani even more after Jack Harrison admission
Leeds United could see several players exit Elland Road in January, and one of those is Jack Harrison.
Harrison made a rare start for Leeds in their FA Cup win against Derby County, but instead of grasping his chance with open arms, he blew it.
The 29-year-old was abysmal on his first appearance for the club since a one-minute cameo in the draw at Brentford in December, after making only his third start of the season in all competitions.
As a result, Harrison is now set to join Fiorentina on loan, and the Italian side can capture him permanently for £8.6million in the summer.
Whilst that will be music to the ears of many supporters, there were previous opportunities to sell the Englishman that Andrea Radrizzani snubbed.

Leeds could have sold Jack Harrison to Tottenham or Newcastle
Former Whites chairman Radrizzani sold Leeds to the 49ers Enterprises in 2023, and the 51-year-old left Elland Road after being crucified for some major errors.
Firstly, supporters were annoyed that Radrizzani sacked Marcelo Bielsa as manager in February 2022, despite being their most popular manager of the modern era.
The Italian businessman was also solely responsible for the reason Leeds didn’t at least recoup the £11m paid for Harrison.

In an interview with Firenze Viola, Radrizzani confirmed that top clubs – including Newcastle and Tottenham – were once interested in Harrison, but he snubbed their advances.
“We’ve had several top-tier clubs interested in him for a long time. Newcastle were very close, but Tottenham, under Antonio Conte, also seriously considered him,” Radrizzani admitted.
“For us, however, it was difficult to sacrifice him because he’s always been a useful player, capable of playing on both flanks, always available, and almost never injured. This is also a very important aspect: his athleticism and physical condition are solid, and that’s a really positive trait.”
Harrison’s versatility and availability are two traits that no Leeds fan can argue against. However, the former New York City star is severely lacking in quality, which is why they should have snapped Newcastle or Tottenham’s hand off for him.

Why Daniel Farke no longer needs Harrison
When Newcastle and Spurs were interested in the winger, there was an opportunity to make a profit on him, and now they’re going to make a tiny loss.
Harrison was poor against Derby when playing as a wing-back, and the Whites are arguably lucky that an option to buy has been agreed ahead of his move to Fiorentina.
The Englishman is surplus to requirements at Elland Road due to his consistent final ball and lack of quality in general.
Also, with Farke now utilising wing-backs in his system instead of wingers most of the time, there’s no room for Harrison, and that explains why he’s exiting the club.
