Leeds United fans will be fuming after EFL announce Sky Sports news
Leeds United will be fuming after the latest announcement surrounding Sky Sportsโ coverage of their games, with a visit to Plymouth Argyle now scheduled for 12:30pm on 17 February.
Leeds shared the news via their official Twitter account [4 January], with the game selected for broadcast alongside a trip to Swansea on Tuesday 13 February now scheduled for 7:45pm, and a visit from Leicester on 23 February at 8pm.
Once again, Sky Sports have shown a complete lack of acknowledgement to travelling fans, who will be expected to make the 11-hour round trip to the opposite side of the country for an early kick-off.
To drive from Elland Road to Home Park would take five-and-a-half hours, with the train journey from Leeds to Plymouth taking the same time, meaning to arrive before kick-off fans would be forced to leave in the early hours.
No doubt, Leeds fans will willingly make the trip and travel in their numbers as always, but the lack of acknowledgement shown by the broadcasters once more typifies the ignorance of the likes of Sky Sports towards the average football supporters.
This has emerged as yet another sign that the organisers at the top of the game have no regard for travelling fans, with those attending the games once again taken for granted, although you can be sure they will be full of praise for the atmosphere at the games they want to show.

There will be praise for the travelling support, and likely a comment on how many have attended live on the broadcast, but once again no consideration has been shown when deciding the fixture list.
As usual, the TV companies are happy to preach how fans make football what it is and lap up the atmosphere they can create, but when it comes to lining their pockets the fans couldnโt be further from their thoughts.
In other Leeds United news, one journalist has claimed Leeds could sign another Chelsea player in January.
