Leeds United ‘can seal Beto transfer now’ as Everton ready sensational deal

Leeds United may be a step closer to signing Beto from Everton after the latest news coming out of Goodison Park.

Preparations for the 2025/26 campaign have begun at Leeds, as the Yorkshire club aims to survive relegation in the Premier League.

Daniel Farke has reportedly been given over £100million to keep the Peacocks in the English top-flight, with targets already being shortlisted.

Beto is just one star who Leeds are interested in, and any Everton move for Richarlison may make negotiations easier with the Premier League outfit.

Everton’s interest in Richarlison could allow Beto’s move to Leeds

One of Leeds’ top targets this summer is Beto. The Everton striker has been at the Merseyside club for nearly two seasons and is currently their top scorer this campaign.

However, despite having a mixed start to his Premier League career, Everton are currently unsure about letting the 27-year-old go this summer.

Beto has struggled at Everton for a consistent run of form

Yet, this might now change after the recent news that has broken at Goodison Park.

According to Rob Dorsett (8 May), Everton are interested in bringing back former attacker Richarlison from Tottenham.

This could be brilliant news for Leeds as it will surely allow room for Beto to depart in the summer.

One of the biggest stumbling blocks in a potential deal is that if he left, Everton would no longer have a senior striker, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin also looking likely to leave.

However, if the Toffees do sign Richarlison, this issue would be solved and would surely help Leeds seal their own sensational deal.

Leeds United need to get their transfer deals done early

If Leeds are to stay in the Premier League, they need to make sure that the majority of their deals are done early.

The last thing Farke needs is for new signings to come to Elland Road in the final days of the window.

If this happens, it could take weeks for them to settle into the West Yorkshire club, which will inevitably cost critical points.

Hopefully, Farke recognises this, and players such as Beto are signed early to help integrate him quickly into the squad.

This could be the start of a very busy summer in LS11.
