Leeds United admin deserves a pay rise after what they’ve just posted about Chelsea
Leeds’ social media admin has fired a dig at Chelsea supporters.
Months of pessimism will go out the window for a few days off the back of Leeds’ 3-1 win at home to Chelsea on Wednesday.
The Whites took a two-goal lead before being pegged back by Pedro Neto, only for Dominic Calvert-Lewin to rubber-stamp the victory in the second half.
However, the social media team have taken advantage of Neto’s celebration at Elland Road to fire a dig at Chelsea supporters.

Chelsea fans have lost their heads
Chelsea have lost just two of their last 13 encounters in all competitions, and both of those defeats have been suffered against newly-promoted clubs.
Sunderland secured a 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge in October, with Leeds’ 3-1 win over Chelsea their latest downfall.
Losing to a side predicted to face relegation can cause a lot of bitterness among a fanbase, and that was certainly the case for the Blues.
Leeds’ social media was flooded with Chelsea supporters claiming that the Whites are going down and firing several other digs at their expense.
However, Leeds‘ social media admin responded to all of the tweets with a picture of Neto celebrating his goal at Elland Road, with both ears covered, blocking out the noise.
The caption reads: “Us to all the Chelsea fans in the comments,” and to no one’s surprise, they didn’t react to it well.

Stats show why Leeds’ win wasn’t a flash in the pan
Leeds recorded more xG against Chelsea than any side the Blues have faced this season, and that includes Champions League encounters.
Neither Bayern nor Barca were able to pose as much of a threat as the Whites did, which speaks volumes about the issues Leeds have faced.
Leeds’ stats vs Chelsea
- 29% possession
- 2.79 xG
- 17 shots
- Two big chances
- 186 completed passes
Creating chances hasn’t been a problem this season, but finishing them has.
On this occasion, the Whites were clinical, and Daniel Farke needs to ensure that is the case moving forward.
