Leeds ‘to sign Tammy Abraham’ under one condition
Tammy Abraham has been linked with a move to Leeds United this summer, with the latest update providing optimism at Elland Road.
As for now, the main focus for Leeds will be rubber-stamping their promotion back to the Premier League ahead of the final 11 games of the campaign.
An away trip to Portsmouth is up next for Leeds, a game in which they need to win if they are to alleviate some of the minor concerns that emerged after dropping two points against West Brom.
However, while the main focus will be on finishing the job on the pitch, plenty will also be on the summer transfer window, and they may have just received a boost in their pursuit of the former Chelsea striker.

Abraham ‘would consider’ Leeds move
If Leeds were to sign Abraham, it would be a massive boost and a significant increase in quality when it comes to their attacking lineup, though it appears as though their chances will hinge on whether or not they can achieve promotion.
A report from TEAMtalk (5 March) claims that Roma are planning to offload the striker, with Abraham keen on a move back to the Premier League.
Tammy Abraham | Appearances | Goals |
Chelsea | 82 | 30 |
Aston Villa | 40 | 26 |
Swansea | 39 | 8 |
Bristol City | 48 | 26 |
Of course, there is a good chance that the Whites will soon fit that criteria, and their ability to offer him guaranteed game time would potentially sway his decision.
Leeds are not the only club to have shown an interest in the Englishman, with West Ham having already made an approach to Roma.

Leeds must pursue striker arrival in summer
Despite the impressive form of Joel Piroe throughout the season, the lack of options in that area is certainly one of the biggest causes for concern at Elland Road.
Those issues will only be amplified if the Whites are successful in their attempts to return to the Premier League, with it highly unlikely that the likes of Mateo Joseph and Patrick Bamford will be at the required level to compete.
However, any transfer decisions will be on the back burner for now, with promotion still yet to be confirmed.
