Leeds player already has head away from Elland Road in new Daniel Farke problem

Daniel Farke will hope to keep his best players at Leeds United ahead of the winter transfer window.

The German manager has seen questions around his future subsiding after some impressive performances from the Whites in recent weeks.

Crystal Palace were handily beaten at Elland Road on 20 December, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin scoring a brace in the 4-1 victory.

Farke’s goal of avoiding Premier League relegation looks realistic now, but January could potentially put a spanner in the West Yorkshire outfit’s plan of success.

Jayden Bogle has head turned by transfer speculation at Leeds United

Jayden Bogle has been a key player for Leeds in recent months, but his performances over the last few weeks will certainly be a cause for concern.

The Whites signed the defender from Sheffield United for around £5million in 2024, and he’s since been essential to achieving Premier League promotion at Elland Road.

Despite James Justin’s arrival in the summer from Leicester City, the 25-year-old has kept his place in the starting lineup.

However, with reports surfacing of Everton’s interest in the former Sheffield United star, his performance seems to have dipped, and despite claims he’s happy at the West Yorkshire outfit, things don’t look promising.

Bogle was nowhere near his best against Palace, losing possession seven times, being dribbled past once, winning just one of his three ground duels and losing his one aerial duel, as per Sofascore.

Daniel Farke to have second headache as another defender to agitate for transfer

Justin has been a bit-part player at Elland Road since moving from Leicester in the summer.

Leeds spent £10m on the English defender who has hardly played for them this season, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him agitate for a move away from LS11.

With Bogle and Gabriel Gudmundsson occupying the full-back positions, Justin may not get into the starting lineup anytime soon.

While there is an argument to start the 27-year-old right-back in place of the former Sheffield United star, it doesn’t seem like Farke will do that.
