Manor Solomon's next move has split opinions at Leeds United.

It is blindly obvious that Leeds need attacking reinforcements, and Daniel Farke has even made a plea to the 49ers to ensure that they arrive before the Premier League season gets underway.

The Whites lack goal threat in the final third, and while the likes of Largie Ramazani and Joel Piroe have been on fire in pre-season, there will be doubts over their ability to replicate that in the top flight when it matters.

Solomon has been linked with a return to Elland Road ever since the conclusion of Leeds' promotion-winning campaign, and they cannot afford to let recent developments sway their vision on the transfer.

Solomon would be an excellent addition for the Whites

Had it not been for Solomon, there is every chance that the Whites would be preparing for another season in the Championship.

He was outstanding last campaign, and the idea of a permanent move was very appealing, until more and more links emerged.

With the likes of Igor Paixao linked with a move, the bar was raised at Elland Road, but that transfer failed, and yet the bar is still there.

Solomon showed his importance for Leeds last season.

While Solomon may not appeal as much as someone like Paixao, it would still be an excellent signing.

He knows the group, he's coming off the back of an excellent campaign, and more than anything, he has plenty of Premier League experience.

Solomon is yet to feature for Spurs in pre-season, making an exit seem very likely this summer.

Leeds must back Farke with attacking arrivals

The signing of a striker will be the number one priority, though several attacking arrivals are certainly needed over the next few weeks.

As it stands, Leeds will be relying on a handful of forwards who didn't even feature regularly in the Championship.

With that said, time is on their side to achieve that.
