Leeds door opens for stunning Manor Solomon return as crucial Tottenham conversation revealed
Leeds United look set to be presented with another golden opportunity to seal a sensational return for Manor Solomon in the January transfer window.
The Israel international was instrumental in the Whites’ promotion from the Championship last season, but he ultimately escaped their clutches in the summer and instead joined Villarreal on loan.
Solomon was linked with a return to Leeds throughout the summer, and the possibility of him potentially returning to LS11 was open right until the final hours of the window.
Daniel Farke and Co. missed out on the winger on that occasion, but they are now about to be handed a chance to sign him that is simply too good to turn down.

Manor Solomon has asked Tottenham to recall him from Villarreal
Leeds ultimately decided against signing Solomon in the summer, in part due to the arrival of Noah Okafor.
The Switzerland international has made a strong start in West Yorkshire so far this term, but there is no denying that his team need more firepower within their ranks if they are to avoid relegation.
Attacking additions are paramount in the upcoming window, and with that in mind, this news regarding Solomon simply could not have come at a better time for the Whites.
- Solomon notched 22 league goal contributions for Leeds last season
- He has six goal contributions from 24 games throughout his career in the Premier League
- Solomon has a goal and an assist from just 82 league minutes for Villarreal
The Tottenham loanee has had a torrid time in La Liga this season, as he made just four league appearances, despite notching two goal involvements in that time.
He has now made contact with his parent club and has “asked” to be recalled in January due to the lack of gametime that he is receiving, according to Spanish outlet El Periodico Mediterraneo.
Given that the North Londoners decided that Solomon wasn’t ready to play a part for them in the summer, and they have since strengthened, it seems highly likely that he would be recalled and either sold or loaned out again.

That looks set to leave the door firmly ajar for Leeds to secure a stunning return this winter, although they must be mindful that West Ham have already enquired over his services.
Manor Solomon deal would finally mean the end of Jack Harrison
Jack Harrison’s reputation with Leeds fans is still on the floor after the way that he previously turned his back on them after the club’s relegation to the Championship several years ago.
The Englishman has continued to underperform this term, and if another wide option came into the club in the form of Solomon, it would likely finally spell the end for Harrison.
Leeds are crying out for more of a threat in the final third, and Solomon’s ability to drift in from the touchline and both score and create would be invaluable to them right now.
Their strikers are desperately struggling for form, and one way of addressing that is by adding extra firepower around them.
Their former loan star can count himself unlucky not to be playing Premier League football this season anyway, and Leeds could surely be his saving grace in January if they are still interested in him.
