Largie Ramazani stuns in pre-season after what he said about Farke call out at Leeds

Largie Ramazani’s arrival at Leeds United last summer had the fanbase eagerly awaiting his debut.

The Belgian winger was meant to be the heir to the throne that was vacated by Crysencio Summerville following his move to West Ham.

Fast forward one year, and Ramazani only has seven league starts to his name for the Whites.

Despite the 24-year-old only averaging 28 minutes per game across 29 Championship appearances, the tricky winger managed to record six goals and two assists.

Ramazani impresses again ahead of Premier League campaign

Although Ramazani was impressive in virtually every appearance for Leeds last season, Daniel Farke evidently did not trust the winger.

The Germans’ mismanagement of Ramazani has been one of his worst decisions since taking over at Elland Road, with the lack of minutes for a player of that calibre being inexcusable.

Given Manor Solomon’s form for the majority of last season, Ramazani was never going to start every game, but after previously playing in La Liga, the Belgian would have hoped for more than just 807 total league minutes in United’s title-winning campaign.

In Leeds’ 4-1 over SC Verl in pre-season, Ramazani shone yet again in his second-half cameo.

He set up two goals, playing a lovely ball with the outside of his boot into Willy Gnonto before going on a mazy run to give Lukas Nmecha a tap-in for his first Leeds goal.

Even though it is just pre-season, Ramazani’s qualities were on full display as the pacy forward could be a useful player in transition for Leeds next season.

Jack Harrison again got the nod over Ramazani to start the game in another frustrating team selection choice from Farke.

If Farke does not utilise Ramazani, he will likely leave

Whilst Leeds fans made their thoughts clear to Farke on Harrison’s inclusion against Manchester United, he persisted with the Englishman anyway, albeit with rotation always planned.

On top of being a far more talented player than Harrison, Ramazani is also loved by the Elland Road faithful, but even they may have to accept that the Belgian may end up leaving West Yorkshire.

For whatever reason, Farke has chosen not to utilise Ramazani more often, and the winger has a right to be frustrated.

Despite being called out by his manager last season, the attacker admitted it made him mature quicker, something that could see him explode in the Premier League.

Whilst another winger like Igor Paixao would be a welcome addition to LS11, Ramazani should be heavily involved in Leeds’ Premier League campaign, but whether that will be the case remains to be seen.
